High-speed boat from Ha Long to Cat Ba to begin operation in November

(VOVWORLD) - The high-speed boat from Ha Long to the center of Cat Ba town is scheduled to start transporting passengers from November 15, said the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee.

The travel time is expected to be one hour, with a ticket price of approximately 10 USD per trip.

This is the first modern high-speed ferry route to be operated, connecting Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage site, with the Cat Ba Archipelago. The route uses a European-standard high-speed ferry with a capacity of 300 passengers and various entertainment amenities.

The ferry has a maximum speed of 28 knots with high stability and noise reduction, and can operate in adverse weather conditions, including gust of up to level 7.
