The program, also known as "bookless library", carried out by the Lotus Fund and the Nguyen An Ninh Digital Library, features six talkshows about the culture and daily life in the southern region of Vietnam, running from April to November 2026.
The first featured guest is Cecile Ngoc Suong Peru, founder of the Lon Xon project, an independent art and design exhibition project on the Mekong Delta. Cecile and her team have introduced their project in many countries and helped promote Vietnamese culture around the world. Future guests also have ties to the Mekong Delta and southern region's cultural life and are mostly young people seeking to reconnect with their roots.
The talks are unscripted and based on guests' personal experiences. Lotus Fund's Chairwoman Dr. Quach Thu Nguyet, said: “On Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, we want introduce the ‘Human Library’ movement to the public. We will develop more content and collaborate with experts and partners to feature project in cultural tours."
