According to the plan, the festival will run from September through the end of November, coinciding with a series of events marking the 195th anniversary of the province’s establishment.
One of the highlights will be the “Tea Street” area in downtown Thai Nguyen, where visitors can explore tea products and OCOP specialties, enjoy street performances, and experience the province’s distinctive tea culture and cuisine.
An International Tea Forum will also be held, serving as a platform to connect businesses, producers, experts, and partners from Vietnam and overseas.
Hoang Xuan Thuy, Director of Tan Hoang Tra Cooperative and Head of the traditional tea-making village in Hamlet 5, Dong Hy Commune, said he was proud that Thai Nguyen continues to host such a large-scale festival.
“It provides a valuable opportunity to promote the image of Thai Nguyen tea to visitors at home and abroad. We hope the Thai Nguyen tea brand will further affirm its reputation as Vietnam’s premier tea region, expand its markets, improve the livelihoods of tea growers, and contribute to the development of our homeland," said Thuy.
