The Swiss Government delivered relief goods valued over 430,000 USD to Yen Bai province, including 26 tons of equipment for safe housing, clean water, and sanitation. Switzerland also sent 8 experts in the fields of clean water, sanitation, and safe housing to conduct surveys and in-depth research on Yen Bai’s needs, and propose appropriate reconstruction plans.
A flight carrying over 35 tonnes of aid from the Indian Government landed at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi on Sunday evening. The 1-million-USD aid included water purifiers, water containers with valves, water tanks, blankets, mosquito nets, solar-powered lights, and cooking sets.
