Located in Vietnam’s northwestern border region, Lai Chau is strategically positioned as a gateway linking Vietnam with China and the broader ASEAN market.
“The approval of investment policies and the signing of the MoUs lay a solid foundation for Lai Chau’s future breakthroughs. The Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, and the Government will continue to provide the strongest possible support and create the most favorable conditions for the province to achieve green, smart, and sustainable development,” said Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
Provincial leaders said Lai Chau is prioritizing investment in renewable energy, tourism, high-tech agriculture, and medicinal herb development as it seeks to become a leading green investment destination in the Northwest.
Lai Chau aims to leverage its natural resources, strategic location, and improving infrastructure to achieve rapid, sustainable growth and attract greater domestic and foreign investment.
