Leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, martyrs on anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

(VOVWORLD) - Party and State leaders on Monday laid flowers at President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and offered incense at the Monument to Martyrs and Heroes in Hanoi on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7).

Prominent in the delegation were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member Truong Thi Mai; and some former leaders.

The same day, delegations from ministries and Hanoi authorities also laid wreaths at the mausoleum and the monument.
