Prime Minister Hung urged Dong Nai to conduct a comprehensive review of its planning and functional zoning; review the planning concerning Long Thanh Airport, ensuring synchronization and infrastructure connectivity.
“There are no exceptions. This year, we must definitely implement the conclusions of the competent authorities regarding Long Thanh Airport. Dong Nai still has several tasks related to land clearance and speeding up infrastructure projects connecting Bien Hoa-Vung Tau expressway, Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4, the Western North-South Expressway, and the Ho Chi Minh City-Thu Dau Mot-Tron Thanh high-speed railway project. Several connecting projects are crucial for Long Thanh International Airport to be put into operation by the end of 2026.”
Prime Minister Hung said that Dong Nai city has ample room for development and needs to set higher targets for growth, public investment disbursement, and budget revenue. The Government will consider favorable conditions and propose mechanisms and policies for the city's development, he said and requested Dong Nai to be determined to achieve a Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth of 10% or more for 2026.
