Malaysia: South China Sea must be managed in peaceful, rational manner

(VOVWORLD) - Malaysia stands firm in its position that the situation in the South China Sea, called the East Sea in Vietnam, must be managed in a peaceful and rational manner through dialogue and consultation, Malaysian Defense Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said Monday during a telephone conversation with Japan’s Defence Minister Kono Taro.

Mr. Yaakob underscored the importance of working together to ensure peace, security, and stability in the South China Sea.
