Mr. Man addressed the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, for the 5-year term themed “Unity-Resilience-Compassion-Creativity-Development” in Hanoi.

In his keynote address, the top legislator said that on international forums, Vietnamese female delegates have always been confident, proactive, and contributed initiatives, affirming Vietnam's strong commitment to the United Nations' sustainable development goals on gender equality.

"The country is entering a new stage of development with higher demands in all aspects. This requires women to join in and truly become one of the major players in shaping the future development of the country," he said.

"The Vietnam Women's Union needs to innovate more strongly, operate more effectively and practically, and realize the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Union needs to focus on solutions to improve women's knowledge, digital skills, professional skills, foreign language proficiency, and lifelong learning abilities, as well as pay attention to rural, ethnic minority, and vulnerable women."

The Congress elected the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, consisting of 111 members. Ms. Le Thi Thuy was re-elected as President of the Vietnam Women's Union from 2026 to 2031.
