Chairman Man presided over a working session with the National Assembly's Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation, and National Digital Transformation and the Steering Committee on Digital Transformation.
AI needs to be integrated into the core operational processes of the National Assembly, including legislation, supervision, decision-making on major national issues, foreign affairs, delegate work, citizen petitions, and others fields, the Chairman said. He requested a collaborative ecosystem connecting the National Assembly with parliaments around the world and the AI community in Vietnam.
“The question is what to do and how to do it to make digital transformation and the application of AI more substantive and better. Only by doing this well can we remove institutional bottlenecks,” Mr. Man said.
The top legislator urged the National Assembly Office to thoroughly address existing shortcomings and limitations, expedite the official operation process, complete the service leasing procedures, and make payments for the successfully tested systems, software, and digital platforms.
