During the discussions, Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized Japan's pivotal role as one of Vietnam's leading and long-term strategic partners. He proposed that Japan continue to support Vietnam's industrialization and modernization efforts while expanding collaboration in key areas such as infrastructure development, clean and renewable energy, high-quality agriculture, green and digital transformation, data centers, and semiconductor technology—sectors in which Japan excels.
Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru acknowledged the positive development of bilateral relations, expressing confidence in Vietnam’s ongoing progress and its potential to become a leading nation in Asia.
Both leaders agreed to enhance cooperation in human resource development, focusing on labor collaboration, high-quality workforce training, and cultural exchanges. They also committed to facilitating better conditions for Vietnamese citizens residing, studying, and working in Japan, fostering deeper ties and mutual contributions to the prosperity of both nations.
