National Assembly’s extraordinary session to open on January 4

(VOVWORLD) - The first extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open via videoconference on January 4, linking with 62 delegations of deputies in provinces and centrally-run cities.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, National Assembly Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong said deputies will review important contents submitted by the Government, including a draft resolution on fiscal and monetary policies for the implementation of the socio-economic recovery and development program.

They will listen to the government’s report on pandemic control in the future and new coronavirus variant.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will comment on a draft resolution on social economic development and recovery program on Friday.
