Le Quoc Minh, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association said at the opening ceremony that this year’s festival is held under a theme that carries profound significance: “Vietnamese Journalism – Loyal, Creative, and Responsible in a New Era.”

“These three key words reaffirm the core mission of revolutionary journalists: to remain steadfastly loyal to the Party’s ideals and the interests of the people; to continuously innovate and embrace modern technologies; and to uphold social responsibility and professional ethics in the cause of building an equitable, democratic and civilized society,” he said.

A major highlight of the festival is the central exhibition area, designed as a journey linking tradition with the future. Through photographs, archival materials, artifacts and modern multimedia technologies, visitors can trace the development of Vietnam’s revolutionary press while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges and expectations facing journalism in the new era.

The festival also features the National Press Forum, which brings together media leaders, journalists and experts to discuss key issues facing modern journalism and explore solutions for the future development of Vietnam’s press sector.
