Passengers using buses on inner-city routes connecting to the city center increased by 17-23%, with 12 routes seeing an increase of 30% compared to before the free service.
The Public Transport Management Center at the municipal Department of Construction told a press conference held on Thursday that the city will continue to focus on bus service quality.
There will be dedicated lanes for buses, on-demand bus services, and shuttle services for students and workers. In addition, the upgrading of bus infrastructure has also been accelerated. To date, all 5,700 bus stops have been checked and maintained.
