According to the official Korean Central News Agency, two short-range ballistic missiles were fired on Wednesday. The launches from the eastern coastal town of Wonsan were North Korea’s second weapons test in less than a week. Experts said the move is likely to keep up pressure on Washington and Seoul amid a stalemate in nuclear negotiations. Pyongyang is predicted to conduct more missile launches to express anger over planned US-South Korea military drills.
