Party General Secretary, President To Lam chairs regular Politburo meeting

(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and President To Lam on Friday asked the Politburo to prioritize plans that will be submitted to the 10th and following plenums of the 13th Party Central Committee, as well as other plans to create momentum for socio-economic development, improve people's lives, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for localities and businesses, and ensure political and social stability.

Mr. Lam was speaking at the regular meeting of the Politburo in Hanoi, where he urged the Politburo to address arising problems under the motto "putting the interests of the nation and people first and foremost."

He praised the effective performance of the Politburo, the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, and other Party agencies and organizations.

However, there is much to be done to meet the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress and to prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, Mr. Lam said.
