The program aims to promote pho - Vietnam’s iconic noodle soup - and share Vietnamese culture by introducing pho to restaurants across Europe, promoting tourism and cultural exchange activities, and connecting overseas Vietnamese communities.
“Our delegation of artisans and chefs will bring the essence of Vietnam’s culinary heritage to Europe. As the dossier seeking UNESCO recognition of pho as an intangible cultural heritage is being finalized, every bowl of pho served abroad will stand as a testament to the richness, historical value, and enduring vitality of Vietnamese cuisine. Through this journey, we hope culinary culture will become a strong bridge for promoting tourism and Vietnam’s national image,” Le Thi Thiet, Vice President of the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association, told VOV.
Organizers introduced an “Open Roadshow” model that encourages Vietnamese communities and restaurants in Europe to join the promotion of pho through local cultural and culinary activities.
“Pho Cultural Roadshow Europe 2026” was jointly organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the We Love Pho Association, the Ninh Bình Culinary Culture Association, and the Royal Vietnamese Chefs Association.
