The Vietnam National UNESCO Commission will coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to make sure all necessary documentation is submitted to UNESCO before the end of this month.

Dong Ho village, formerly named Mai village, in Bac Ninh province, is known as the cradle of one of Vietnam’s most famous folk painting genres. Dong Ho paintings reflect an agricultural society, depicting details of the daily lives of rural Vietnamese people.
