At a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for Angolan Minister of External Relations Téte António, PM Hung urged the Angolan government to continue supporting the Vietnam National Industry-Energy Group (Petrovietnam) and other Vietnamese businesses operating in the country.

He also called for faster negotiations on key trade and investment agreements, including an investment promotion and protection agreement and a double taxation avoidance pact, while reviving traditional cooperation in education, healthcare and agriculture.

Minister António said Angola wants Vietnam to remain a key partner in its new phase of development, with broad cooperation opportunities in agriculture, mining and mineral processing.
