Following the welcome ceremony, the two PMs shared a private meeting before leading their delegations in talks to review recent bilateral cooperation and discuss orientations for future collaboration.

According to Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai, Mr. Tusk’s visit is expected to promote substantive cooperation in economics, trade, and investment, improve market access, and address barriers to the flow of goods between the two countries.

The two sides have an opportunity to also expand cooperation in high-value-added sectors, including digital technology, green energy, quantum technology, and the training of a highly skilled workforce.

Joanna Skoczek, Chargé d’Affaires of the Polish Embassy in Vietnam, said the visit aims to identify and reaffirm areas with significant potential for bilateral cooperation, including education, trade, cooperation at international forums, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. She added that several important documents are expected to be signed during the visit.
