Chairing a meeting in Hanoi on Friday on the development of the framework, national databases, and strategic technologies, the PM said the application of artificial intelligence is now a mandatory requirement in state governance, public service delivery, and decision-making support. However, he stressed that humans must remain the ultimate decision-makers.
Emphasizing the need to prioritize the development of an integrated, one-stop National Public Service Portal, he called on ministries, sectors, and localities to align with the framework to ensure interoperability, avoid overlapping investments, and prevent waste.
Regarding nationally branded strategic technologies, PM Hung said this is a key task. “The development of research and testing infrastructure, as well as key laboratories, is an urgent requirement. We must ensure a sufficient pool of high-quality human resources to manage, operate, and accelerate implementation.”
The PM also urged relevant agencies to mobilize resources and strengthen cooperation with universities and businesses to develop technology products bearing Vietnam’s national brand.
