He made the remarks while working with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the 2026-2030 socio-economic and national financial development plan linked to the goal of double-digit growth.

The PM asked the ministry to submit two proposals to the Government in May: one on managing and using carbon credits for sustainable socio-economic development and national security, and another on guiding documents for the implementation of national target programs on new-style rural development, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The same day, PM Hung urged the Finance Ministry to ensure the neutrality of tax policy and the effective implementation of tax, fee and charge reductions to support businesses and citizens.

He called for stronger measures to develop Vietnam’s stock market into a truly important medium- and long-term capital channel for the economy, and requested the prompt revision of regulations on corporate bonds.

The PM emphasized the need to improve the business and investment environment by cutting administrative procedures, business conditions and compliance costs.

He also requested close coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to develop a national strategic petroleum reserve to ensure energy security.
