The Tra Linh (Vietnam)-Longbang (China) border gate pair was upgraded to an international level last week.
PM Chinh stressed the need to develop border gate and border trade economies; ensure security, social order and safety; and combat crimes such as smuggling and drugs trafficking.
Earlier the same day, he attended a ground-breaking ceremony for the first phase of a project to build an expressway connecting Tra Linh and Dong Dang border gate in Lang Son province.
