Mr. Hung, a National Assembly deputy representing Hai Phong City, said the revised law must balance the interests of all parties.
“We recently amended the Petroleum Law, and revising the Electricity Law now is a consistent and appropriate step. The amendments must safeguard the greatest possible benefits for the State and the people while also addressing investors’ interests. We need to make certain technical adjustments to attract major investors,” he noted.
The proposed amendments focus on decentralizing authority in line with implementation capacity, further streamlining administrative procedures, and removing bottlenecks.
