In his address, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised Cambodia's trade and investment environment and expressed his hope that Cambodia will continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to expand their investment.

The Vietnamese Prime Minister suggested enhancing connectivity and complementarity between the two economies, focusing on institutions, finance, transport infrastructure, electricity, telecommunications and tourism.

He proposed the two countries’ concerned agencies and businesses regularly share experience and support each other in formulating policies to maintain macroeconomic stability, improve the business environment, and attract quality foreign investment.

The Prime Minister urged the two countries' investors to focus resources to accelerate investment projects while ensuring their equality and compliance with law of the resident country.
Mr. Chinh said Vietnam always creates the best conditions for the two countries' businesses to strengthen cooperation.
He said: "The Vietnam-Cambodia friendship and comprehensive relations are the invaluable asset of the two Parties, States and peoples. Each of us is responsible for fostering the bilateral relationship. Each investment project of businesses of the two countries represents the development of bilateral cooperation and contributes to bilateral ties. With new orientations and frameworks for bilateral cooperation and determination of the two countries’ leaders and peoples, I believe that the ties between Vietnam and Cambodia will advance to a new height for prosperity of each country and benefit of the two peoples."

PM Hun Sen urged to the countries to strengthen human resource training and boost bilateral cooperation by upgrading both hard and soft infrastructure. He called on Vietnamese businesses to expand investment in Cambodia and promised to create a favorable environment for investors.

Earlier, the two leaders attended an exhibition of photos featuring the two countries, people and their fine neighborliness, traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation.
