At the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that the culture, sports and tourism sector plays a very important role in the country's double-digit growth. He outlined key solutions including building and fine-tuning institutions like the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Physical Education and Sports, the Law on Tourism, the Law on Cinematography, the Law on Libraries, the Law on Cultural Heritage, and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Publishing.
The Prime Minister stressed revision to the Strategy for the Development of Vietnamese Culture and the Plan for Organizing "Vietnamese Culture Day" until 2030. Simultaneously, he called for a review and submission of amendments and additions to the Strategy for the Development of Vietnamese Tourism until 2030 and the development of the Strategy for Vietnamese Cultural Diplomacy until 2030, with a vision to 2045; and the issuance of a Code of Conduct for Culture in the Digital Environment.
Prime Minister Hung urged for the acceleration of the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation throughout the sector; and the thorough preparation and successful organization of major political and cultural events of the country this year.
