President Nguyen Xuan Phuc works with Cu Chi, Hoc Mon district authorities

(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised Ho Chi Minh City’s Election Council for organizing a meeting to update local voters on the country’s socio-economic development.

During a meeting with leaders of Cu Chi and Hoc Mon district, HCM City on Thursday, the President asked the two districts to promote high-tech agriculture, organic agriculture, and digital agriculture and exploit their land potential effectively. He said it’s important to continue the new rural development program, develop eco-urban areas, and restructure the local labor to increase their incomes. He urged the two districts to pay more attention to social beneficiaries, revolutionary contributors, and disadvantaged and vulnerable people and strengthen COVID-19 prevention measures.
