The Prime Minister's official visits to Australia and New Zealand were successful in all aspects. In particular, Vietnam and Australia upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, while Vietnam and New Zealand agreed to elevate bilateral ties to a new height.
The two sides proposed a direction of "six more points" in Vietnam-Australia relations and three pairs of keywords: "stabilize and consolidate", "strengthen and expand", and "accelerate and breakthrough" in Vietnam-New Zealand relations.

The two sides signed nearly 30 cooperation documents in education, training, innovation, goods and services, aviation, energy, mining, trade, investment, finance, banking, agriculture, environment, labor and employment, justice, and defense.
