In order to make economic cooperation a cornerstone of the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership, the two leaders agreed to improve the efficiency of bilateral cooperation mechanisms, especially the Intergovernmental Committee for Economic-Trade-Scientific-Technical Cooperation, soon agree and implement the Master Plan for the development of Vietnam-Russia cooperation until 2030 and the List of priority tasks for Vietnam and Russia for the 2024-2025 period, strengthen financial and credit cooperation in accordance with international law and legal regulations of the two countries.

Prime Minister Chinh urged the two sides to maximize the advantages of the Vietnam- Eurasian Free Trade Agreement, asking the Russian side to continue removing trade barriers in order to further facilitate bilateral trade, especially the export of consumer goods and Vietnam's strong agricultural and aquatic products to Russia.
The two leaders also agreed to promote cooperation in oil and gas, energy, science, technology, information, communication, culture, sports, tourism, and labor as well as the teaching of Vietnamese and Russian languages in each respective country.
