Prime Minister Chinh applauded the efforts of Da Nang authorities and people in COVID-19 prevention and control and socio-economic development over the recent past.
He assigned future tasks, saying “Da Nang needs to further the spirit of self-reliance, stick to reality, respect reality, and take reality as a measurement to push key tasks. The city needs to build a really clean and democratic administrative system, all for the people.”

The Prime Minister suggested that the city promote high technology and innovation and find new driving forces for development. He urged for efforts to strengthen public-private partnership, develop high quality human resources and socio-economic infrastructure, pay attention to tourism development, restore traditional culture, and bolster entertainment industry.
