They include the revised Quang Ninh Provincial Planning Scheme for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; the Quang Ninh Urban Master Plan until 2050, with a vision to 2075; the Decision recognizing Quang Ninh province as a Type I urban area; the Quang Yen Coastal Economic Zone Master Plan until 2050; and the Van Don International Airport Planning Scheme for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
They are important legal foundations for Quang Ninh to organize the allocation of development space and unlock resources. The focus is on organizing space according to a model of multi-polar, multi-center, multi-layered, and multi-tiered urban chains. It will developing an integrated system of marine space, islands, borders, heritage, and the digital economy into a comprehensive, green, and sustainable ecosystem.
Addressing the announcement conference, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khang said: "Quang Ninh province is committed to implementing the plans coordinately, decisively, and effectively, quickly translating them into programs, plans, and projects. Efforts will be made to build superior and distinctive policy mechanisms to attract domestic and foreign investors in line with the Politburo’s Resolution No. 68 (on private economy development) and Resolution No. 10 (on foreign-invested economy development)."
"We will keep administrative reform, improve the investment and business environment, boost digital transformation, innovation, enhance governance quality, strengthen national defense and security capabilities, and expand foreign relations for rapid and sustainable development," Mr. Quang added.
At the conference, Quang Ninh province presented investment approval decisions and investment registration certificates to 18 projects with a total investment capital of roughly 1.7 billion USD.
