In addition, the province’s digital infrastructure has 99.6% 4G coverage and 5G coverage reaching 94% of the population, a firm foundation for the deployment of digital economy applications.
Quang Ninh currently has 172 e-commerce websites and more than 33,500 online stores registered and managed on e-commerce platforms. By the end of 2025, the province had 35 active science and technology enterprises, considered the “leading force” in transformation efforts, science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.
Notably, the Focused Digital Technology Park and Auxiliary Zone Project in Tuan Chau Ward, invested in by FPT Corporation, together with a Security Operations Center and a Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Ha Long University, is accelerating investment procedures for completion in the second quarter of 2026.
