Rockets strike US Embassy in Baghdad

(VOVWORLD) - Five rockets crashed into a riverbank near the US Embassy in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone on Sunday without causing any injuries or serious damages, a statement from the US Joint Operations Command said.

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi condemned the attack and said Iraqi forces have been ordered to investigate and arrest the culprits.
