RoK President begins a State visit to Vietnam

[VOVWORLD] - President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung and his spouse will pay a State visit to Vietnam from April 21 to 24 at the invitation of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam and his spouse, with a view to shaping a long-term cooperation framework between the two nations.

(VOVWORLD) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung held a phone talk with Republic of Korea Foreign Minister Cho Hyun on Tuesday to discuss measures to promote bilateral cooperation.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam welcomed nearly 2.5 million foreign visitors in this January, up 21.4% from December and 18.5% compared to the same period last year, according to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT).

(VOVWORLD) - South Korea’s exports to Vietnam reached 62.8 billion USD in 2025, up 7.6% year-on-year, according to the latest data released by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
