Russia and Ukraine announce largest prisoner swap since February 2022

230 Ukrainian soldiers and 248 Russian soldiers were released and repatriated in the first exchange, after nearly 5 months.

Ukraine’s human rights ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said 2,576 Ukrainians have been freed in prisoner swaps since the start of the conflict.
