The statement came during his meeting with the Russian Security Council when he was asked about a US missile test last Sunday. President Putin said the US has violated the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty sign in 1987.
Mr. Putin ordered an analysis of the level of threat for Russia created by the US’s action and prepare a "symmetric response". He added that Russia remains open to fair and constructive with the US to regain trust and ensure global security.
