VOV Vice President Vu Hai Quang underlined VOV’s 10-year support for Vietnamese futsal and said the opening ceremony coincided with the 101st anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day, June 21.
“The Voice of Vietnam is always proud to contribute its efforts as the leading national media agency, leveraging the strengths of the multimedia communication ecosystem from radio, television, online newspapers and digital platforms to bring the image of Vietnamese futsal closer to a wider audience of domestic and international fans,” Mr. Quang said.
The champion of this year’s tournament will represent Vietnam in the 2027 Asian Club Futsal Championship, while the runner-up will qualify for the 2027 Southeast Asian Club Futsal Championship if they meet the licensing criteria of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
There will be 28 matches in the second leg of the HDBank National Futsal Championship 2026 which will run until July 25.
