Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, said the message of the World Tourism Organization – “Tourism and Peace” – is meaningful.
“Only if safety and security are assured can we successfully implement tourism programs,” she said.
The "Soul of Vietnam" program was introduced to the public as the first of a series of new culture and art tourism products.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoang Nam, the program's production director, said they plan to create a program that meets the expectations of as many customers as possible. But it will not be focused on one particular art form.
“The program includes Vietnamese music played in a chamber music style. There's a creative element that I hope everyone will enjoy – foreign music played on traditional Vietnamese instruments," he said.
