President Maithripala Sirisena told diplomats from Australia, Canada, Japan, the US, and Europe that security forces were successful in rounding up all those responsible for the Apr 21 bombings which killed 258 people and injured 500.
A state of emergency was declared to deal with the immediate security situation, but it will not be necessary to prolong this.
