Vietnam Summer Camp is an annual event organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese to create opportunities for the young generation of Vietnamese expats to learn about their roots and connect with their homeland.
This year's camp coincides with the 70th anniversary of Hanoi's liberation from colonialism this year and the 50th anniversary of national reunification next year.
Themed “Nation full of joy”, the program will run until July 29. The camp's activities will start in Hanoi and move to other localities throughout the country, ending in Ho Chi Minh City.
