Speaking at the event, Chinese Premier Li Qiang was quoted by Xinhua as saying that innovation-driven cooperation is imperative to overcoming the global growth challenge, calling for closer connectivity and collaboration, and joining forces and pooling resources to innovate.

He also said technological progress should serve the common good and advance joint governance more effectively.

China will continue to expand market access and build a world-class business environment, welcoming businesses from all over the world to invest and operate in China, according to Premier Li.

The 17th Summer Davos is underway from June 23-25, 2026, attended by the Prime Ministers of Bangladesh, Guinea, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Mongolia, and Montenegro, and more than 1,700 representatives from government officials, businesses, research institutions, and media from over 90 countries and territories.
