This ranked the province third nationwide in economic growth in the second quarter and ninth in the first half of the year. At the end of 2025 it ranked 33rd.

Industry remained the main engine of Thai Nguyen’s growth, led by the manufacturing and processing sectors. Robust production by electronics manufacturers, foreign-invested enterprises, and other major industrial producers helped sustain the province’s strong economic performance. At the same time, the service sector continued its recovery and agriculture recorded steady growth.

These results were attributed to administrative reforms, efforts to remove obstacles for businesses, accelerated disbursement of public investment funds, and the implementation of key development projects. Following its adoption of the two-tier local government model, the provincial administration quickly stabilized and improved its governance, creating fresh momentum for socio-economic development.
