Fresh coconut exports have reached a new level by using a new generation self-propelled refrigerated container that maintains a stable temperature and humidity throughout the journey. This keeps coconuts fresh until they arrive in China.
Tien Giang has a coconut growing area of more than 21,600 hectares and is the third largest province in the Mekong Delta region, after Tra Vinh and Vinh Long. It will provide policy support to replicate effective models to boost the coconut industry and increase farmers’ income.
