He was welcomed at Palam Military Airport by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai, along with Indian and Vietnamese officials.

Later the same day, Mr. Lam is scheduled to meet India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, as well as staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and members of the Vietnamese community in India.
