The Vietnamese leader, who is on an official visit to Thailand, made the remarks during a reception in Bangkok on Wednesday for Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Executive Chairman of TCC Group and CEO of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited.
Mr. Lam called on TCC Group to support Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises in integrating more deeply into supply chains, contributing to stronger economic connectivity between Vietnam, Thailand and other ASEAN members.
Acknowledging TCC’s investment and business activities in Vietnam in recent years, Party chief and President Lam encouraged the group to continue expanding its operations in the country, with a focus on improving governance capacity, applying science and technology, promoting innovation and environmental protection, and contributing to local communities.
Mr. Sirivadhanabhakdi said TCC is studying plans to launch additional projects in logistics, recycling and other sectors in Vietnam.
