During the meeting, the two leaders expressed their desire to further comprehensive cooperation between the two parliaments and agreed to continue deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
They stressed the need to enhance cooperation in emerging and potential areas such as digital transformation, green economy, clean energy transition, new technologies, innovation, and smart finance, while promoting supply chain cooperation, developing financial centers, and ensuring food security.
General Secretary and President Lam proposed that the two parliaments keep coordinating and exchanging high-level delegations, young parliamentarian groups, women parliamentarian groups, and committees at all levels. He called for sharing experiences in institution building, improving legal systems, and enacting policies and laws in new areas during each country's development process.
