Mr. Lam and members of the Vietnamese delegation expressed their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese people, who devoted his life to the cause of national independence and world peace.

The President Ho Chi Minh monument carries special historical, cultural, and diplomatic significance, symbolizing the friendship between Vietnam and the Philippines as well as solidarity within the ASEAN community.
