The top leader chaired a working session in Da Nang City with the Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee on implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and some key political tasks.
At the working session, General Secretary and President Lam applauded the city’s approach in concretizing the major orientations of the central level into action programs. He emphasized maintaining strong internal resources, managing infrastructure, energy, supply chains, and improving governance quality.
“Focus intensely on the goal of rapid, sustainable, substantive, and high-quality growth,” Mr. Lam said, adding “the city's new growth model must truly be based on productivity, science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, the quality of human resources, and efficient resource allocation.”
“Strong development is needed in high value-added sectors with significant spillover effects like high-quality services, tourism, logistics, high-tech industries, semiconductors, finance, the digital economy, the creative industries, and the marine economy. In particular, the widespread application of AI must be promoted, creating a breakthrough in labor productivity and growth quality.”
The General Secretary and President urged for efforts to harmonize the economy, culture, society, people, and the environment to make Da Nang a livable, safe, civilized city with a rich identity.
