He emphasized that as the political report is the key report, it must inspire the pride, self-reliance, and confidence of cadres, Party members, and people in the Party’s right and clear-sighted guidelines, along with the goal of and path towards socialism chosen by President Ho Chi Minh and the entire people.
He urged drafting team to be open to and respect each other’s opinions; create high consensus, particularly on new and difficult issues; carefully study released documents; and make full use of opinions from former leaders, intellectuals, researchers, and officials.
It is also crucial to pay due attention to the results of domestic and international scientific studies, as well as effective methods and new models over nearly 40 years of renewal.
