Chairwoman Ngan said she is pleased with efforts to carry out the Vietnam-EU Partnership and Cooperation Agreement and enhance economic, trade and investment ties. Emphasizing the recent signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), she said she hopes both sides will work towards the early ratification of the two agreements so that they can open up new cooperation opportunities for both sides’ enterprises.
The top legislator voiced her hope that in any position, Bruno Angelet will continue contributing to the relations between Vietnam and the EU in general and between the two parliaments in particular.
The diplomat said that the EU always does its best to foster the bilateral relations and support Vietnam’s development.
